AOL’s IM program for Mac is hopelessly out of date. That is a shame since that was part of my team that was working on it and we used to keep it current when I was working at AOL. I tried using iChat for a while, but it has a real lack of features and seems to get very confused when I log into both AIM and AOL client at the same time. So I tried Adium. What a great program! It really rocks and has several cool features, not the least of which is the display which can be customized to being transparent. I highly recommended. Check out the screen shot:
